Jun 11, 2009: Just installed Flash Catalyst and i have to say, it's awesome. I took a panel design i made in Photoshop and brought it into Flash Catalyst and got a working Flex application up and running in less than 15 minutes. One of the coolest things i thought was the ability to simply create transitions between states. This thing is great!
Jun 3, 2009: Finally, Flash Builder and Flash Catalyst are now in public beta! Flash Catalyst is going to be incredible, absolute huge time saver in my book.
Lately i've been using AFCS (Adobe Flash Collaboration Service) on some new projects. This is going to be huge once it's out of beta. Just the pre-built components alone make this service worth the money. Social Network sites are going to be completely revolutionized once this thing hits full scale.

Feb 13, 2009: I used to just make mobile Coldfusion sites, but I think using Flex on a phone is great and a little cleaner. I've recently read that Adobe demoed their new Flash Player that has full functionality on a phone running Microsoft Windows Mobile. Hopefully that'll come out with the next Windows Mobile update after 6.1. Since the beta release of the Skyfire Browser, I can now make some lightweight Flex apps for mobile phones.
Jan 1, 2009: Welcome to Project 4 Designs.
My name's Chris Tagliaferro and this is my online portfolio for my freelance Flex Development. I spent most of my day developing RIAs using Flex 2, Flex 3, AIR, Coldfusion MX 7 and Coldfusion 8. I've recently gotten into mobile application development as well.
I think Flex is the most brilliant language on the market today. There are so many things that can be done in such a little amount of time. I've also been developing alot lately with Adobe AIR and Zinc, bringing a bunch of new ideas to the desktop. Under the 'Portfolio' link is a better description of some of the RIA's that I have been working on.
I spend most of my spare time doing graphic design, making videos, animations and recording musicians, myself included. Vue is a new favorite of mine. I've made some pretty complex landscapes in no time at all, so it's a big part of my workflow when it comes to doing nature scenes.
I use After Effects extensively for all my compositing and video effects. I can gather all my footage or animations and get some really interesting results.
I'm constantly updating the site with new things, so please check out some of the other tabs and if anything interests you, feel free to contact me.
